Julie Fridley
My name is Julie Fridley. I am the owner and lead photographer at Jewel Boudoir Photography. I am a small-town Iowa girl living in Milo, Iowa. I have been a wedding videographer and photographer since 2015, though it really started for me back in high school, in the 1980s. My true passion is capturing people and showing them another side to themselves that they didn’t know they had. On July 25, 2019, I quit my full-time job to chase my dreams of making more people see themselves as the truly beautiful person that they are. I haven’t looked back, as being a boudoir photographer was the best decision I’ve ever made!
There are photographers of all kinds in the world, but my specialty is boudoir. I fell in love with boudoir because I see firsthand how this changes people and changes the way they see themselves. Everyone walks a little taller and I love hearing, “That is me, wow!” or “I am beautiful – I love me!”

Alli Marois
I graduated from the Iowa School of Beauty and have been licensed since 2018. I enjoy doing boudoir makeup for the same reason I got into hair and makeup, to make women feel good about themselves. I love the fact that I can change someone’s day with one twist of a curling iron or a pair of lashes.
Outside of hair and makeup Alli enjoys spending quality time with her husband, dog, and new baby girl.
Alli does hair and makeup full time at Adour Salon in Indianola, IA.

Jenny Sveum
My name is Jenny Sveum. I am Julie’s daughter and live in Stuttgart, Germany. I have recently joined to help support the digital media for my mother’s business. I graduated from Iowa State University in 2012 with a degree in Communications and English. I have since lived in Germany and work as an English teacher for children. I am a musician on the side and have navigated my way through social media promotion. I am happy to use this experience to promote my mom’s wonderful work! I hope to eventually move back to Iowa and join the in-house team.
