The Jewel B Experience
Our boudoir experience is all about you! From start to finish, your session day will be flooded with positivity and uplifting adventures. Here's a closer look into our luxury experience.
Consultation Phone Call
Your boudoir journey begins with a 15-minute phone call. Seriously, that's all it takes!
We want to know all about what you want to get out of your session so that we can best serve you.
During your complimentary consultation phone call, we'll get to know each other better and start planning your boudoir experience. We'll book your session date at this time too. (How exciting!)
The Boudoir Session
Once the day of your session arrives, you'll meet us here at our private studio location.
Our professional beautician will take great care of you while styling your hair & makeup. Once you're satisfied with your look, we'll select outfits and dive into your session.
The shoot itself will take 75+ minutes while Julie walks you through all of the poses. We'll tak care of everything for you, so all you'll have to focus on is having fun!
Same-Day Reveal
After we've finished taking your photos, we'll all take a brief (1 hr) lunch break. We'll send you over to Houston's - our favorite local bar/restaurant - for an appetizer or drink. Lunch is on us!
After lunch, you'll come back to the studio for your photo reveal & ordering session. We have a wide range of luxury albums, wall art, and prints to choose from.
After you've chosen your products, you can expect them arrive around 6 weeks post-purchase.

About Us
Founded in 2019, Jewel B is the premier boudoir photography studio in the Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, IA area. Our mission is to help everybody grow in their journey of self-love.
There are photographers of all kinds in the world, but my specialty is boudoir. We fell in love with boudoir because we see firsthand how this changes people and changes the way they see themselves. Everyone walks a little taller and we love hearing, “That is me? Wow!” or “I am beautiful – I love me!”
